The company has deep accumulation in large-scale data storage and computing, forming two major product matrices of "tools + teaching content": on the tools side, represented by Youdao Dictionary, Youdao Translate, and Youdao Cloud Notes; on the teaching content side, covering Youdao Premium Courses, NetEase Cloud Classroom, NetEase Open Courses, etc.; it has also launched smart hardware such as Youdao Dictionary Pen, Youdao Smart Pen, Translation Egg, Smart Answer Board, and Learning Machine, and self-developed the education large model "Ziyue," first implemented in scenarios such as spoken language practice and family tutoring.
Business pain points
- Invoice issuance needs across multiple APPs are scattered; multiple business lines such as NetEase Cloud Classroom and Youdao Dictionary need to independently connect to tax interfaces, resulting in high repeated development and maintenance costs
- Data cannot be returned to form a closed loop; after invoicing, the status is not synchronized to the business system, order status lags, affecting subsequent processes
- Compliance management difficulties: Fully digitalized e-invoice XML original files are stored in a scattered manner, making unified archiving difficult and creating tax risks
Solutions
- Build a unified tax fully digitalized e-invoice management platform and deeply integrate it with NetEase's internal business systems: the platform connects to NetEase Cloud Classroom APP, NetEase Youdao Dictionary APP, and others, providing standard invoicing interfaces for one-click invocation by various business lines
- After the user applies, the platform automatically calls the Leqi interface to complete invoicing, and returns invoice status and layout file links to the business system in real time, automatically updating order status
- All fully digitalized e-invoice XML/PDF/OFD files are automatically centrally stored, meeting China Golden Tax Phase IV compliance requirements
Results achieved
- Provide its hundreds of millions of users with a consistent, fast "invoice upon transaction" experience across APPs
- Each APP does not need to repeatedly develop tax interfaces; unified platform access reduces R&D costs
- Invoice status is synchronized in real time, supporting automatic refunds and return process optimization
